Obywatele krajów trzecich
Non-EU citizen is obliged to have two main documents:
- a valid travel document (passport)
- a visa (if required)
There are several types of visas to choose from. Please check at the Welcome Point what type of visa you should apply to be an exchange student in Poland. If you’re not sure, please contact the Embassy of Poland (or the nearest Consulate General in the country you are currently residing) to discuss issues regarding your entry documents.
In order to obtain a visa, you need a Letter of Acceptance (Confirmation of Acceptance) – a document confirming that you were admitted to our university. You will find it on the IRK platform – please monitor the “Files to download” section of “Enrollment Applications” on your IRK profile.
We sign it with a digital signature and the embassies usually accept it.
If you need a more detailed document (including the details about accommodation, for example), please contact us (you will find the link to our contact list on the right).
If you have a visa valid for the whole duration of your mobility, you do not need to register/legalise your stay. In other cases (for example – if you are not an EU citizen, but you have an EU residence permit), you might need to undergo a different procedure. Please contact us and we will direct you to the right office.
