Period of stay and length of stay: summer semester 2024/2025 (January – May 2025)
Number of scholarships: 2 students per semester
Who can apply: Undergraduate students (after completing the 1st year of studies)
Eligible units/fields of study: addressed to all faculties
Financial conditions:
- Tuition fee will be waived by the host institution.
- Costs of visa, tickets, insurance, handbooks, costs of living and accommodation are covered by a student.
- Student is obligated to purchase required insurance package offered by the host institution (approximate cost 1100 USD).
- Student will be accommodated in the UIW campus dormitory with obligatory full-board option https://www.uiw.edu/studyabroad/incoming-students/housing-and-meals.html
Required documents:
- Consent Form, signed by Head of the Educational Unit (EUH) or Mobility Coordinator;
- Certificate of grade average from the entire period of study, issued by the Student’s Office at the unit – at least 3,49;
- Motivation letter justifying the choice of the receiving institution;
- Curriculum Vitae including information on academic achievements, distinctions, awards etc.
- Certificate/proof of the English language skills – a language certificate according to the requiremet: https://www.uiw.edu/admissions/internationaladmissions/english_proficiency.html (TOEFL iBT 79 lub 83, IELTS 6.5, TOEIC 650 lub 700, CAE, PTE Academic 53 lub 56, Duolingo 110 lub 115);
- Declaration of having financial resources in the amount required by the partner university (at least USD 10,968 for a stay for 1 semester or USD 21,935 for a stay for the entire academic year).
Remarks:
- The receiving institution shall reserve the right to review the exchange enrolment request and make the final decision according the receiving institution’s internal regulations and the legal regulations imposed by the national and/or local authorities.
- Students accepted by the receiving institution shall obtain approval for the study programme from the Mobility Coordinator at their home unit at UW. Learning Agreement shall be signed by the student and both institutions within 3 weeks from the beginning of the exchange.
- Candidates may, at any time, be asked to show original documents providing achievements and received awards.
- Students take care of the visa on their own in accordance with the procedures of the host country.
- Before departure, students accepted by the receiving institution are obliged to conclude an agreement with the University of Warsaw (at the International Relations Office).
- Nominated students are obligated to submit by 02.10.2024 documents required by the host institution:
- Exchange Program Application;
- Official university transcripts;
- Official English proficiency test scores;
- Official bank statement;
- Copy of passport and any visa for the US;
- Proof of Meningitis Vaccine (to be submitted after UIW student ID is issued).

Application deadline: 19 August 2024, until 12:00 pm Warsaw time zone. Incomplete or late applications will not be considered.

Applications sent from other email addresses will not be considered.
