Period of stay and length of stay: winter semester (August – December) or summer semester (January – May) 2025/2026
Number of scholarships: 2 students per semester

Financial conditions:

Required documents:

  1. Consent Form, signed by Head of the Educational Unit (EUH) or Mobility Coordinator;
  2. Certificate of grade average from the entire period of study, issued by the Student’s Office at the unit – at least 3,49;
  3. Motivation letter justifying the choice of the receiving institution;
  4. Curriculum Vitae including information on academic achievements, distinctions, awards etc.
  5. Certificate/proof of the English language skills – a language certificate  according to the requiremet: https://www.uiw.edu/admissions/internationaladmissions/english_proficiency.html: TOEFL iBT 79, IELTS 6.5, TOEIC 650 (TOEIC scores, students may submit a copy of their score report. TOEIC scores must be submitted by the testing agency – UIW Institutional Code: 6303), CAE C1, PTE Academic 53, Duolingo 110;
  6. Declaration of having financial resources in the amount required by the partner university: equivalent of at least $10,968 USD for one semester.

Remarks:

  • The receiving institution shall reserve the right to review the exchange enrolment request and make the final decision according the receiving institution’s internal regulations and the legal regulations imposed by the national and/or local authorities.
  • Students accepted by the receiving institution shall obtain approval for the study programme from the Mobility Coordinator at their home unit at UW. Learning Agreement shall be signed by the student and both institutions within 3 weeks from the beginning of the exchange.
  • Candidates may, at any time, be asked to show original documents providing achievements and received awards.
  • Students take care of the visa on their own in accordance with the procedures of the host country.
  • Before departure, students accepted by the receiving institution are obliged to conclude an agreement with the University of Warsaw (at the International Relations Office).
  • Nominated students are obligated to submit by 02.05.2025 documents required by the host institution:
    1. Official university transcript(s) in English
    2. English proficiency test scores
    3. Bank statement indicating the equivalent of at least $10,968 USD for one semester
    4. Copy of passport
    5. Exchange Student Financial Requirements form

Application deadline:  Friday 7 March 2025, until 12:00 pm Warsaw time zone. Incomplete or late applications will not be considered.

Application (one e-mail containing all required documents; subject: USA – University of the Incarnate Word – summer/ winter semester 2025/2026) shall be sent to the email address bwz.nabory.wymiana@uw.edu.pl from the candidate’s university email address (§3 Order of the Rector of UW no. 279 from 10th December 2020). Applications sent from other email addresses will not be considered.
